I just got this email from a friend, call the number below if you or someone you know would be interested in helping this pup.
We found Saturday night a female sharpei and since we are not allowed to have pets we are trying to find a family for her. If you or anyone that you know is interested please give me a call asap. She was abandoned in between palmetto and a building on Kendall and she did not move the whole day looking at every car that slowed down next to her, we believe that the person that left her there was in a car and she was expecting to be picked up. We have been in different shelters and they do not have more space for any dog which means that she will be put to sleep if we don't find anyone. She is very sweet, educated, doesn't jump on any furniture, doesn't bark or destroy anything in the house, doesn't cry, very calm but she likes to play. Please help us with this one. We think she is still young.

Like Angelica, I too am not permitted by my condo to have a dog.
So unfortunately all I can do is pass this along!
