The breed has come a long way since the days when he fought in battle or was pitted against lions and other wild animals. Kind, dignified, and courageous, he has the same wild puppyhood as any other breed, but matures into a calm and quiet dog who loves being with his people. He loves children, although he can unintentionally bowl them over simply by bumping into them.
Clyde is a 3 year old Mastiff who has an excellent temperment considering his background. He has had a busy life mass producing puppies for a commerical breeder who had no interest in him other than live puppies to trade for cash. Clyde is shy at first but is coming out of his shell and is beginning to trust those around him. Once he knows you, he is very affectionate. He is not agressive in any way. He really is a nice, NICE boy!
He is up to date with all vaccines, has tested negative for heartworms and has already been neutered. Clyde might be 3 years old, but as all studs as good looking as him....he is ready to retire his old life and move on to greener pastures.
Why not consider giving this great guy a home he can call his own? You wont be sorry. He is being fostered in Gettysburg, PA.
